Campaign State Transitions
A campaign moves through intake, objective definition, audience and channel selection, claim review, asset production, owner approval, bounded release, measurement, and closure. Each transition records its owner, inputs, decision, and unresolved risks.
A campaign can be paused when claims lose support, approvals expire, a product status changes, a security incident occurs, or observed results conflict with public wording. Measurement distinguishes delivery metrics from business outcomes; impressions, clicks, or leads do not prove adoption, revenue, token performance, or return on investment.
Purpose
Define the lifecycle for BBA campaigns from discovery through reporting.
Scope
Campaigns may support product launches, DAO updates, Marketplace listings, Academy courses, DeFi or Trading onboarding, governance explainers, and ecosystem announcements.
Workflow
Campaign stages include discovery, strategy, claim review, production, approval, launch, monitoring, optimization, reporting, and archive.
Campaign Object
Campaign records should include campaign ID, objective, audience, assets, channels, claim review status, risk level, launch status, metrics, approvals, report reference, and archive location.
Governance Touchpoints
Governance review may be required for DAO campaigns, treasury claims, public roadmap claims, tokenomics claims, and major ecosystem launch communications.
Risk Considerations
Campaign metrics are measurement tools, not guaranteed outcomes. Campaigns must avoid guaranteed growth, guaranteed acquisition, guaranteed revenue, or token price claims.
