Treasury Alignment
DraftStatus: Draft Version: 0.2.0 Last Updated: 2026-05-16 Owner: Axodus Tokenomics / Treasury
Purpose
Tokenomics must align with Treasury because issuance, burn, future marketplace utility, future staking, and future governance features can affect reporting and sustainability.
Scope
This page describes current treasury implications of $Neurons and separates them from future or undefined treasury models.
Current Treasury Implications
The current model affects Treasury through:
- maximum supply monitoring;
- mint event reporting;
- burn event reporting;
- campaign or eligibility program tracking;
- future cross-chain supply reconciliation;
- operational review of signer and mint authority controls.
Not Currently Defined
The current model does not define DAO treasury allocation, treasury token percentage, treasury fee, liquidity fee, burn fee, staking rewards, or marketplace settlement funded by Treasury.
Treasury Questions for Future Features
Future tokenomics work should answer whether a feature creates treasury inflows, outflows, liabilities, liquidity obligations, reporting duties, or governance approval requirements.
Examples include marketplace payments, public sale, staking, DAO treasury allocation, liquidity support, partner campaigns, and cross-chain liquidity.
Reporting Fields
Treasury-aligned tokenomics reporting may include total supply, minted amount, burned amount, remaining supply capacity, mint events by program, signer or role change events, cross-chain supply reconciliation if enabled, incidents, and limitations.
Risk Considerations
Risks include undocumented treasury obligations, unsupported fee claims, supply reconciliation errors, signer compromise, unclear campaign budgets, and future liquidity assumptions.
