Claim Review

Draft

Status: Draft Version: 0.1.0 Last Updated: 2026-05-17 Owner: Axodus BBA

Review Decision

Each claim is decomposed into subject, asserted state, scope, time, audience, and required evidence. The reviewer assigns one of four outcomes: supported, supported with qualification, directional only, or remove/rewrite.

Product, partnership, adoption, security, audit, financial, token, treasury, performance, and compliance claims require a canonical source and a current status context. Owner intent can explain positioning but cannot prove an active capability. When evidence is private, the public output records only a safe conclusion and limitation; it does not reproduce the underlying material.

Purpose

Claim review is BBA's primary safety function.

Scope

A claim is any public statement about product behavior, status, integrations, performance, earnings, security, legal status, governance status, partnerships, or expected user outcomes.

Claim Categories

Categories include product, performance, financial, token, trading, DeFi, governance, security, partnership, compliance, roadmap, and sustainability claims.

Review Statuses

Statuses include Proposed, Evidence Required, Under Review, Approved, Approved With Revision, Rejected, Escalated, Expired, and Needs Revalidation.

Evidence Requirements

Claims require an appropriate source of truth such as release note, governance record, audit report, security review, signed partner confirmation, treasury report, contract reference, product owner confirmation, or validated metric source.

Risk Considerations

Dangerous claims include guaranteed ROI, guaranteed profit, guaranteed APY, guaranteed token appreciation, audited without audit, official partner without confirmation, legally compliant without review, and community approved without governance record.
