DraftStatus: Draft Version: 0.1.0 Last Updated: 2026-05-16 Owner: Axodus DeFi
Purpose
DeFi documentation must be useful without becoming investment advice, financial promotion, or misleading product marketing.
Disclosure Themes

- APY, yield, rewards, and returns are variable and not guaranteed.
- Contracts and protocols can contain bugs or be exploited.
- Asset values can change and users can lose value.
- Withdrawals, swaps, or exits may be delayed or affected by slippage.
- External protocols can fail, change, or be attacked.
- DeFi products may be subject to uncertain or changing rules.
- ETF DaaS is ETF-oriented design language, not a regulated ETF unless legally established.
Prohibited Claims
Do not claim guaranteed APY, guaranteed yield, guaranteed profit, risk-free DeFi, safe yield, passive income without risk, fixed return without legal and contractual basis, regulated ETF status without legal basis, audited status without an audit, principal protection without basis, or legal compliance without review.
Safe Language
Use language such as variable yield, estimated APY, subject to market and protocol risk, subject to governance approval, subject to security review, planned, draft, active if verified, ETF-oriented, risk-aware, reportable, and educational.
Review Triggers
Review is required for public DeFi product pages, APY or yield claims, ETF DaaS pages, derivatives or debentures pages, staking launches, vault launches, liquidity incentive campaigns, treasury DeFi strategy reports, security or audit claims, and legal or compliance claims.
