Fees and Revenue
DraftStatus: Draft Version: 0.1.0 Last Updated: 2026-05-16 Owner: Axodus DEX / Treasury
Purpose
DEX fees may compensate LPs, fund protocol operations, support Treasury, or incentivize liquidity if implemented and approved.
Fee Types
Possible fee types include swap fees, LP fees, protocol fees, treasury fees if approved, router or aggregation fees if implemented, listing service fees if Business policy defines them, and liquidity incentive budgets if approved.
Fee mechanics must not be described as guaranteed revenue, guaranteed liquidity, or token price support.
Fee Record
Fee records should include fee type, scope, rate or formula, asset, amount, destination, pool or route, period, governance reference, contract reference, status, and reporting reference.
Governance Requirements
Governance is required for changing swap fees, protocol fees, treasury fees, router fees, fee destinations, liquidity incentives, fees for $Neurons-related pools, or public fee claims.
Reporting
Reports should include period, volume, gross fees, LP fees, protocol fees, treasury fees if any, incentive costs, net protocol revenue if applicable, pool breakdown if safe, and limitations.
Risk Considerations
Risks include fee opacity, LP revenue overpromise, treasury revenue overpromise, incentive cost, and contract mismatch.
