Governance Alignment

Draft

Status: Draft
Version: 0.1.0
Last Updated: 2026-05-16
Owner: Axodus Trading / Governance

Purpose

Trading can affect users, treasury, tokenomics, product access, public trust, and ecosystem accountability. Material Trading policies must align with Governance.

Scope

This page defines governance-sensitive Trading items, routing levels, review flow, reason codes, and Trading boundaries.

Governance-Sensitive Items

Sensitive items include treasury strategies, live capital allocation, leverage use, CEX or DeFi exposure, market making policy, strategy access policy, $Neurons-based access, free user strategy access, DAO group access, high-risk strategy availability, risk limits, public claims, tokenomics interactions, ACS or automation authority, and major incident response.

Routing Levels

  • No Governance: minor docs, internal research, or non-sensitive UI copy.
  • Governance Visibility: low-risk strategy research or non-material product updates.
  • Governance Review: user-facing strategy access policy, disclosure standards, or token-gated access models.
  • Formal Proposal: treasury trading strategy, material risk limit changes, locked rewards used for access, or high-value campaigns.
  • Emergency Review: exploit, major treasury loss, critical API key incident, or systemic strategy risk.

Review Flow

  1. Trading item is identified.
  2. Risk and policy are classified.
  3. Trinity analysis is prepared.
  4. Agent Smith reviews high-risk items.
  5. Governance trigger is assessed.
  6. Governance brief is created if required.
  7. Governance decision is recorded.
  8. Strategy or policy updates only if approved.
  9. Reporting and accountability records are created.

Reason Codes

Reason codes may include TRADING_GOVERNANCE_REVIEW_REQUIRED, TREASURY_TRADING_REVIEW_REQUIRED, STRATEGY_ACCESS_POLICY_REQUIRED, TOKENOMICS_ACCESS_REVIEW_REQUIRED, RISK_LIMIT_REVIEW_REQUIRED, API_SECURITY_REVIEW_REQUIRED, PERFORMANCE_CLAIM_REVIEW_REQUIRED, and ACS_AUTOMATION_REVIEW_REQUIRED.

Boundaries

Trading can research strategies, propose policies, run approved workflows, produce reports, and pause strategies under defined policy. Trading cannot deploy treasury capital without authority, promise user profit, change approved access policy unilaterally, let agents execute sensitive actions without permission, hide losses, or claim exchange partnership without confirmation.
