ETF DaaS

Draft

Status: Draft Version: 0.1.0 Last Updated: 2026-05-16 Owner: Axodus DeFi

Purpose

ETF DaaS means ETF-oriented DeFi as a Service. It is a design direction for diversified, rule-based, governable, and risk-aware DeFi exposure.

Scope

ETF DaaS may involve baskets, allocation rules, rebalancing policy, risk limits, reporting, and governance control. It is not documented as a regulated ETF, security, fund, or guaranteed return product.

Conceptual Components

  • Basket: a collection of assets, protocols, or strategies.
  • Allocation rules: how weights are assigned.
  • Rebalancing policy: how allocations change over time.
  • Risk limits: exposure, liquidity, protocol, or asset limits.
  • Theme: an index-style thesis such as stable DeFi, blue-chip DeFi, liquidity basket, or DAO treasury basket.
  • Reporting: disclosure of exposure, changes, risks, and limitations.

Governance Requirements

Governance review is required to create an ETF DaaS basket, add or remove protocols, change allocation rules, change rebalancing policy, use treasury capital, make a user-facing product live, change risk limits, publish performance claims, or use regulated product language.

Risk Considerations

Diversified does not mean safe. ETF DaaS may introduce regulatory language risk, correlated protocol risk, rebalancing risk, liquidity risk, protocol risk, and reporting risk.

Released as living documentation for the Axodus ecosystem.
