Governance Alignment

Draft

Status: Draft Version: 0.1.0 Last Updated: 2026-05-16 Owner: Axodus DEX / Governance

Purpose

DEX parameters can affect user safety, treasury revenue, liquidity, token utility, and market integrity. Governance must control material policies.

Governance-Sensitive Items

Sensitive items include official listings, verified status, warning or blocking policy, official pool creation, incentivized pools, treasury-supported pools, swap fees, protocol fees, treasury fees, LP fee distribution, LP incentives, $Neurons incentives if defined, marketplace checkout, accepted assets, and emergency pause.

Routing Levels

Use No Governance, Governance Visibility, Governance Review, Formal Proposal, or Emergency Review.

Reason Codes

Reason codes include DEX_GOVERNANCE_REVIEW_REQUIRED, TOKEN_LISTING_REVIEW_REQUIRED, POOL_POLICY_REVIEW_REQUIRED, FEE_POLICY_REVIEW_REQUIRED, TREASURY_LIQUIDITY_REVIEW_REQUIRED, TOKENOMICS_LIQUIDITY_REVIEW_REQUIRED, and EMERGENCY_DEX_ACTION.

Risk Considerations

Governance review does not eliminate token, pool, contract, liquidity, execution, or legal risk. It provides traceability and authority for sensitive decisions.
